Baby Feeding Calculator
Calculate how much your baby should eat per feeding and per day based on age and weight.
How Baby Feeding Amounts Are Calculated
The AAP feeding guidelines use a ml-per-kg-per-day formula that adjusts based on age as solid foods are gradually introduced:
- 0-3 months: ~150 ml/kg/day, 8 feedings/day
- 4-6 months: ~150 ml/kg/day, 6 feedings/day
- 7-9 months: ~120 ml/kg/day, 5 feedings/day (solids supplement)
- 10-12 months: ~100 ml/kg/day, 4 feedings/day
- 13-24 months: ~80 ml/kg/day, 3 feedings/day
The per-feeding amount is the daily total divided by the number of feedings. These are reference values — always follow your baby's hunger cues.
